HopSignals Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of HopSignals. By using HopSignals, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and legal drinking age

HopSignals is intended only for adults who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws. HopSignals does not independently verify age through this website.

Informational service; no alcohol sales

HopSignals is an informational beer-discovery application. It provides personalized guidance, educational information, and tools for recording preferences and experiences. HopSignals does not sell or deliver alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.

User accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep login credentials confidential, and promptly notify support of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity on your account to the extent permitted by law.

User-provided content

You may be able to submit ratings, notes, images, menu content, prompts, or other material. You retain ownership of content you provide. You give Synapse AI Group LLC permission to host, process, reproduce, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the features you request.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of others. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Appropriate use

You may not misuse HopSignals, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where the law permits, use automated means that unreasonably burden the service, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use the service to violate the rights of others.

Recommendations and information limitations

Beer recommendations are estimates based on available information and your expressed preferences. Taste is subjective, and recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for you. Brewery, menu, tap-list, pricing, product, ingredient, allergen, and availability information may change or contain errors. Confirm important details directly with the brewery or seller before making a decision.

HopSignals is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Consider your health, medications, allergies, and personal circumstances, and consult an appropriate professional when needed.

Subscriptions and store billing

If paid subscriptions are offered, purchase terms, pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling may be provided at the time of purchase. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by the applicable store and are also subject to that store's terms.

Deleting your HopSignals account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Manage subscription billing through the store where you purchased it.

Intellectual property

HopSignals, its branding, software, interface, text, graphics, and other service materials are owned by Synapse AI Group LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Service availability and changes

Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued. HopSignals may experience maintenance, outages, errors, or loss of availability. Synapse AI Group LLC does not guarantee that every feature or item of information will remain available.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, HopSignals is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Synapse AI Group LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement to the extent those disclaimers are permitted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Synapse AI Group LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to HopSignals. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using HopSignals at any time and may request account deletion. Synapse AI Group LLC may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, respond to unlawful conduct, enforce these terms, or discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date will change when revisions are made. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
